About Us

Shack & Pantry was imagined from years of retreat cooking and a lifelong love of cheese.. More than just a deli or café, we’re a gathering place where feel-good food brings people together.

In 2018 we relocated to be nearer the sea, scenery and fresh air..

We originally hosted and cooked for boutique yoga & surf weekends from our home and then came to cook for other retreats with over 30 yoga retreats to date. I always thought about making our menu accessible to nourish the wider community though it seemed a pipe dream until the opportunity came up in 2025. Quickly the dream became a reality and after a few months of being open we gained a regular customer base with a brilliant team working behind the scenes. We believe that food is a powerful way to connect and have created a special space where you can enjoy fresh salads, wholesome brunches, drinks to nourish and amazing coffee. It’s been so lovely to connect with the community and hear so many experiences and life stories already.

Where possible, we choose organic produce and work with trusted brands that have a strong heritage and a commitment to sustainability. Working with suppliers who value provenance and ethical practices, means that the goods you buy and the food we serve is not only good for you but good for the planet too.
