About Us

Shack & Pantry, was imagined to be more than just a deli - we’re a gathering place where feel-good food brings people together.

We moved to north Devon in 2017, where we embraced country living and a new career hosting and cooking for boutique yoga and surf retreats from our rural home. Since 2022 I’ve worked as a private chef, mostly on nearby yoga retreats and have always dreamt of bringing the menu to the wider community. With a focus on fresh produce using local suppliers and farmers, our menus designed to fuel both the body and soul. We believe that food is a powerful way to connect, and we’ve created a space where you can enjoy everything from fresh salads and hearty brunches to cold-pressed juices and delicious bakes.

We wanted to create warm & friendly environment, where you can connect through conversation and delicious shared moments. Whether you’re popping in for a take away, joining us for our monthly social brunches or ending the week with some cheese & wine, we welcome you to come together over food, discover new flavours and celebrate the small joys of life in the company of friends, family & neighbours.
